How to Use 100K UR Points
We have a record high sign-up bonus worth 100,000 points on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - and offers like this don't come around too often.
So we found 5 different ways for you to use those points, starting with…
1️⃣ Virgin Atlantic
Great for families to fly economy over to Europe as low as 6,000 points per person.
Deals are frequent and availability is wide open throughout this year and next year:
Stack with a current 30% transfer bonus for Chase UR Points - and for a family of 4, one way flights can be as low as:
Economy - 19,000 points total
Premium Economy - 36,000 points total
Business Class - 90,000 points total
Economy would be plenty though - and you'd have plenty of points to book round trip for your family.
2️⃣ Southwest Airlines
Nearly every flight with Southwest Airlines can be booked with points, and value is pretty consistent with this program.
Take a flight from Dallas to Denver for only 10,000 points + $5.60:
This flight costs over $150, so that’s around 1.5 CPP - and you can even find up to 1.8 CPP on Southwest from time to time.
Transferring to Southwest can be an easy way to often get a better deal compared to just booking a flight in your issuer's travel portal.
3️⃣ Qatar Airways
Transfer UR Points to British Airways then to Qatar for free.
Then book an American Airlines award flight across the country from LA to Miami for only 16,000 Avios with Qatar:
Using Avios airline programs to book American Airlines flights is one of the best strategies out there.
4️⃣ Star Alliance Business Class
Splurge a little and book business class with Air Canada for as low as 60,000 points one way.
You can find partner bookings like Lufthansa, Swiss Air, and Austrian Airlines with very low taxes and fees.
Here’s Nic on his way to Germany last year with Lufthansa (booked via Air Canada):
5️⃣ Hyatt Hotels
100k UR points is now 75k Hyatt points on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - so that's actually the same amount of Hyatt points that you would get from 75K UR points under the old offer and old 1:1 Hyatt transfer rate on this card anyway.
The 4:3 devaluation hurts, but the card got a major upgrade in a lot of other ways.
This new limited time welcome offer is nice to see as well though, and there's a ton of great options for how to use it!
