New Way To Earn Hyatt Explorist Status
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders woke up to a new benefit this week.
People with $75,000 in annual spending on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® can activate World of Hyatt Explorist status.
That mid-tier Hyatt status includes things like:
Premium WiFi
Room upgrades
2pm late checkout
20% bonus points on stays
People with the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business will need $120,000 in annual spending to qualify.
This Hyatt status on the personal Sapphire Reserve lines up with other benefits after hitting $75,000 in spend, including:
IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status
Southwest Airlines A-List status
$500 Southwest Airlines credit
$250 credit at The Shops
Adding this Hyatt benefit is definitely targeted to high spenders and business owners with large purchases each year.
We wouldn’t recommend spending your way to Hyatt status since you can optimize in other ways like sign up bonuses or earning points across multiple issuers.
But if you naturally have high spending and use this card frequently, these perks are like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae.
