Wells Fargo Attune Discontinued

The Wells Fargo Attune credit card is just became closed to new applicants.

​We’re not sure why as the card just officially launched two years ago in June 2024.

​Earning multipliers were very unique on the Wells Fargo Attune and focused on personal wellness, entertainment, transportation, and shopping.

​The card earned 4% cash back on things like:​

• Gym memberships

• Salons and spas

• Sporting events

• Gardening shops

• Pet supply stores

• Public transit

• EV charging

• Thrift stores

​Many of these categories often fall into miscellaneous spending on a “catch-all card” like this credit card that earns 2X back on everyday purchases.

​When we ranked every credit card earlier this year, the Wells Fargo Attune was a “high B tier” on our list.

​The 4% back is rare for a no annual fee card - but data points online pointed out that many purchases coded incorrectly, thus not earning the cash back on advertised categories.

​2026 has definitely been an interesting year with several credit cards disappearing, including the Attune card now.
