Amex Platinum Offers - July 2026
As of July 1, Amex Platinum cardmembers no longer have access to a $50 Saks credit every 6 months.
But to help replace this, American Express announced they would be giving Platinum users exclusive offers such as:
TUMI: spend $250+, get $50 back
Nordstrom: spend $200+, get $50 back
Bose: spend $300+, get $75 back
Perplexity: spend $200+, get up to $100 back
Eight Sleep: spend $1,000+, get $200 back
The Nordstrom offer honestly looks like an alternative to the now gone Saks credit, which was hard to use anyway.
Some Platinum cardmembers also started receiving a “$50 goodwill credit” from Amex, likely due to the Saks credit getting cut.
We’re not sure if Amex is mandated to do that for select customers because of a mid-year card change, but this is nice to see for some people.
Data points are mixed for who received this credit - but the credit seems to be posting for both recent applicants and seasoned cardholders.
