Earning elite status with Marriott just got easier for people with the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.
Cardholders can enroll from July 1 through September 30 and earn complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status for 3 months.
This status includes things like:
2PM Late Checkout
Room Upgrades (when available)
25% Bonus Points on hotel purchases
After enrolling, you then have the opportunity to qualify for Marriott Gold Elite status through February 2028 by staying three paid nights during the free 3-month window.

OR say you’re visiting some family towards the end of the year?
Wait to enroll in this benefit until the end of September.
Unfortunately, free night awards or point bookings do not count towards the three-night requirement.
BUT participating in the promotion is a fast track to Marriott Gold status that normally requires you to stay 25 nights per year.
