Bilt Adds JetBlue Transfers

Breaking news...

Bilt just added its latest transfer partner: JetBlue TrueBlue!

Bilt will transfer to JetBlue TrueBlue points at a 1:1 ratio, which is something not all point currencies can say when transferring to this New York-based carrier.

This now marks 27 total transfer partners for Bilt.

We talked about a pair of JetBlue redemption examples on Friday, including domestic flights under 10,000 points one way and JetBlue Mint (First Class) under 35,000 points.

Partner bookings through JetBlue are also possible with airlines like United, Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad, and Icelandair.

Take an economy or Qsuites booking from San Francisco to Doha as a perfect example:

Yes, you can find better pricing directly through Qatar for both economy and business class...

BUT historically, we've seen transfer bonuses pop up for recently added Bilt transfer partners.

A hypothetical 25% transfer bonus to JetBlue would bring the pricing down to 34,000 points in economy and 67,000 points in business - which is better than Qatar directly.

We’ve also heard great things about Iceland and more deals keep popping up there…

Like a $520 flight for only 12,700 JetBlue points and about $100 in taxes and fees:

That’s 3X more valuable than redeeming for cash back or gift cards:

($520 - $102) / 13,000 points transferred = 3.22 CPP

To find these redemptions, go to the “Explore” tab on Seats.Aero and find JetBlue. Then, filter by location - our sample searches were North American to Asia or Europe:
