New Delta and Hyatt Partnership

American Airlines and Hyatt are ending their loyalty partnership at the end of 2026 as benefits between the two programs will fizzle out by the end of February 2027.

In a twist of events - just hours later - Delta announced a new partnership with Hyatt.

Details are limited for right now, but we do know elite members will get a “Dual Earn” benefit - where travelers will be able earn Delta SkyMiles booking Hyatt stays and vice versa.

A Delta press release said “The exclusive collaboration will launch in the coming months.”

American Airlines has fallen behind over the years in the premium onboard experience as Delta and United have innovated much quicker.

And even though SkyMiles are worth less than AA miles - pairing Hyatt and Delta brings together two premium brands in the travel space.

We’re hoping the partnership will bring additional benefits for more than just elite members, since airline and hotel status can be hard to reach for non-business travelers.

More information on Delta and Hyatt at a later date!
