Rove's Newest Partner - Copa Airlines
Rove just announced Copa Airlines as its newest transfer partner.
To celebrate, they're running a 40% transfer bonus through September 30.
You probably aren’t too familiar with Copa Airlines (that’s okay, we weren’t either), but we looked into the program to see what redemptions are possible.
There’s quick flights down to Central America, like Miami to Panama for only 15,000 miles and low taxes and fees of around $34:
The cash price on this was $273, so Cents Per Mile (CPM) value is decent here:
($273 - $34) / 15,000 miles = 1.59 CPM
But where Copa Airlines really shines is by booking partner award flights for airlines like United, Lufthansa, and Emirates.
For example, United is charging a whopping 120,000 miles or $2,203 for Polaris business class on this route from San Francisco (SFO) to Newark (EWR):
BUT the same exact flight booked with Copa Airlines is charging 55,000 miles + $6 in taxes and fees. 👇
Throw in the 40% transfer bonus mentioned earlier and we’re looking at only 40,000 miles… for a transcontinental US flight that would otherwise cost $2,203.
Doesn’t get much better than that!
($2,203 - $6) / 40,000 miles = 5.49 CPM
