Bilt Palladium Credit Limit Increases
Select Bilt Palladium cardholders woke up to an increased credit limit over the weekend.
Daniel here - Bilt sent me this email Sunday morning:
Congratulations! We are excited to let you know that we have increased the credit limit on your Bilt Palladium Card from $35,000 to $50,000. Based on your account history and current credit standing, we are pleased to provide this increase.
Like many others online who also received credit limit increases, I didn't ask for this increase but was pleasantly surprised with the change.
I definitely did not NEED a $50,000 credit limit on this card, but I'll take it haha.
The most extreme example we read about was someone jumping from a $5,000 credit limit to $50,000 (a 10X increase).
Others had credit limits in the range of $10,000 to $35,000 and were also increased to the $50,000 limit.
Confused users contacted Cardless (who services the Bilt cards) and confirmed with customer service that credit limit increases are valid.
Cardless does not currently support credit line increase requests, but there is a possibly that an internal team is evaluating information to automatically adjust limits.
We also have not officially heard from Bilt on this situation yet.
Although an email was sent to cardholders, the bottom portion of the email mentioned “Cardless, Inc. is sending this email as the servicer of the Bilt Cards.”
System glitch? Qualified increase?
We’re not completely sure! Did your credit limit also increase?
