Bilt Rent Day - August 2026

Bilt Rent Day is Saturday, August 1 and the transfer bonus is interesting to say the least…

Members can transfer points to ALL Accor (a hotel partner) and receive a status match based on Bilt status:

  • Bilt Blue → Accor Silver

  • Bilt Silver → Accor Silver

  • Bilt Gold → Accor Gold

  • Bilt Platinum → Accor Platinum

Bilt Blue, Silver, and Gold members must transfer a minimum of 5,000 points and then will receive a link to complete a status match on Accor’s website - status is valid for 12 months.

Bilt Platinum members must transfer a minimum of 15,000 points and will have status updated automatically within 5 business days - valid through December 31, 2027.

Elevated status with Accor includes things like late checkout, room upgrades, and bonus points on stays - here’s some more information if you want to read about each status.

If you frequently stay at Accor properties or have a stash of Bilt points, then the transfer bonus could be valuable to you.

You probably have not redeemed Bilt points for ALL Accor yet (or maybe even heard of them).

The way it works - every 1,000 Accor points gets you 20 euros (~$23 USD) off a hotel stay at checkout.

Sounds great on the surface, until you factor in the reduced 3:2 transfer ratio from Bilt to Accor.

We’ll spare you the double calculation and just mention redeeming Bilt points to Accor gets you about 1.52 CPP in value.

That's not too bad, but not the best either.

However, the good news is that you can basically redeem at 1.52 CPP for any hotel room - meaning that you don't have to find traditional award availability like with other hotel programs.

Daniel here. I used Bilt Points transferred to Accor to book the Fairmont Banff Springs back in May - so if you've been looking to stay at this amazing hotel, then this could be a good opportunity to do so with a status match!
