NEW Samsung Galaxy Card
Samsung, the massive technology and phone company, is making a splash with their NEW Samsung Galaxy Card!
Earning rates are taken directly right from the Samsung announcement and are as follows:
5% cash rewards on eligible purchases made directly with Samsung
3% cash rewards on purchases made with Samsung Wallet
2% cash rewards on streaming services, like Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify
1% cash rewards on all other purchases
20% off Samsung VIP Advantage, plus earn 5% cash rewards when purchasing or renewing a Samsung VIP Advantage membership.
The Samsung Galaxy Card is issued by Barclays, has no annual fee, and offers a $200 cash rewards bonus after spending $2,000 in the first 90 days of account opening.
3% back on purchases made with Samsung Wallet stands out the most and is reportedly uncapped.
The Apple Card famously only earns 2% back when using Apple Pay (or else earnings are 1%).
Apple and Samsung have been battling for years - countless lawsuits, new devices, and now even competing credit cards.
Not on our bingo card for 2026!
Who cares though - we're honestly excited to see it because as consumers, we ultimately benefit when competition exists.
Are we going to switch from iPhone to Samsung?
Probably not.
But we do know this Samsung card could drive serious value and will put the pressure on Apple and Chase to revamp the Apple Card in the near future.
The Samsung Galaxy Card is also black, metal and without a doubt - another dig at Apple, right?
