NEW Venture Card $100 Credit
Some cardholders with the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card (not the Venture X) are getting a message about adding a $100 hotel and vacation rental credit.
That message says:
Good news, your Venture card now includes an annual $100 stays credit for hotel and vacation rental bookings through Capital One Travel. Your credit will be renewed each year on your cardholder anniversary date with no enrollment needed. It will be ready within 72 hours of this message and can be viewed and applied at checkout.
Worth noting, this $100 credit is not active for everyone and is not mentioned on the Capital One website yet. So just something to keep in mind and to look out for if you have this card.
We're not sure if this is a new feature that is officially rolling out for everyone with this card - but this would be a perfect example of competition benefitting consumers.
That's because the Venture Card is basically a direct competitor to the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card which also updated its $100 hotel credit recently.
Both cards have a $95 annual fee, include a $120 Global Entry / TSA PreCheck® credit, and operate in the mid-tier travel credit card space.
