US Bank Adds Transfer Partners
US Bank has FINALLY added four transfer partners after making promises to do this back in December 2025.
Transfer partners include:
Air France KLM
Qantas Airways
Ethiopian Airlines
ALL Accor Live Limitless (2:1 ratio)
But here’s the odd thing - the US Bank Altitude® Reserve and the FlexPerks Travel Rewards are the only cards that can transfer out to partners at this time.
We're not seeing any data points for other US Bank cards with the ability to transfer.
The US Bank Altitude® Reserve has been closed to new applications since November 2024 and the FlexPerks card was closed to new applications long before that.
So, could US Bank possibly open the door to a future re-launch later this year?
They wouldn’t add transfer partners for a card most people don’t have access to, right?
Who knows honestly because the situation gets even MORE odd - two transfer partners are now closed off just one day after they were added (as reported by Frequent Miler).
Air France and Qantas were removed from the US Bank transfer page on Wednesday, August 12.
Only Ethiopian Airlines and ALL Accor Live Limitless remain available at the time of writing this.
Ethiopian Airlines was already the most interesting one because they have the largest Fifth Freedom flight network in the world where the carrier flies between two foreign countries.
Washington DC (IAD) and Newark (EWR) fly to Lome, Togo in West Africa for 40,000 miles in economy and 80,000 miles in business class:
Other intra-Europe options include lie-flat seats from Stockholm, Sweden to Oslo, Norway:
Very niche redemption examples, but always cool to see an airline program included for the first time from a flexible points currency.
